Elevcon 2023, the 23rd International Congress of the International Association of Elevator Engineers (IAEE), will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, after the Covid19 pandemic.
As it is known, the Elevcon Congress has been postponed since 2020 due to Covid19. Last year we lost Mr. Ami Lustig, president of the Elevcon Congress, and Joseph Stier, who led the establishment of the IAEE.
Congress president Dr. Marja-Liisa has an extensive background in the elevator industry, where she has worked for over 30 years.
Papers from Turkey titled “The Simulation of Seismic Effects on Guide Rail Fasteners and Re-design of Brackets”, “Finite Element Analysis of Glass Panels with Bolted Connections Designed for a Running Car” and “A Field Study on the Damage of Elevators after the Twin Earthquakes” will contribute to the Congress.
The authors of the papers are Eren Kalay, C. Erdem Imrak and Adem Candas from ITU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Sefa Targit from ASRAY and Ferhat Celik from Blain Hydraulic.
Sefa Targit Vice President, MAKFED Turkish Machinery Federation will moderate title “MAINTENANCE AND CONDITION MONITORING” session.
